Born in Mezher, Koris grew up with a twin brother and gravitated toward art through dancing, singing, and making things. His grandfather designed swimwear, and his curiosity about that work brought fashion into his life long before he considered studying it.

School was sometimes difficult. Financial differences between classmates were apparent in what they owned, while bullying made it harder to fit in. His family supported his creative interests, and he began making work in fourth grade. By his final school year, sketching and constructing pieces had become a way to work through academic pressure.

Koris initially explored the business side of fashion but found himself missing the artistic work. A tour of CSB, arranged through family friends, helped clarify what he wanted, and he left determined to apply.

He is interested in finding structure within disorder, working with discarded fabric, paper, and unconventional materials that he can rearrange and test. His process often begins with a concept or an emotional tension, which he develops through research and technical drawings before moving into draping and experimentation. He is particularly drawn to sculptural forms, color, and fluidity.

Outside design, Koris enjoys singing and working out. At CSB, he wants to deepen his knowledge of construction and craftsmanship while remaining resourceful with materials and open to the ideas of those working beside him,
